A perfect game by Sid Palmer at Englewood Bowl and a 708 series by Jessica Hendrickson at Sarasota Lanes are the headline items in this weekend's Examiner.com report of high scores at bowling centers in the Sarasota-Manatee-Charlotte County area.

Palmer blasted 12 consecutive strikes in the middle of a 166-over-average 751 series during competition in the Pete's Patio Mixed League, and the big numbers increased his average to 199.

Hendrickson pounded out her 708 set on games of 227, 268 and 213 in this week's session of the Bob Anderson Plumbing Mixed League, where she now carries a 203 average.
