Sick drifting at Nurburgring

Typically the Nurburgring isn't used for drifting, but when you introduce two drifters to an open track anything can happen. Drifting like mad with a set of BMW vehicles, these drifters make good use of the IDS Nurburgring track as they tear up their tires and the corners. The smell of rubber and hot BMW engines permeate the air as the track is saturated by the infamous sounds of drifting. Drifting in a parking lot is one thing, but drifting on a historical track is totally different. The feeling of drifting something as legendary as Nurburgring IDS must be totally surreal. The best part is that they made a killer video for us to watch and share the awesome experience!

More Nurburgring fun!

Pay special attention to how these BMW drifters take full control of the course. Making each corner their beamer pleasure, this video is a great example of the capabilities that can be achieved with a slightly modified BMW chassis. When BMW builds a car, they don't just build a luxury car with purpose. No, they take a race car and make it luxury! This totally different building methodology has proved successful as many of their drivers around the world will swear by their vehicles. The quality, precision, and sports car like mass breeding of BMW thrills is second to none. When you sit inside of a BMW, you have the feeling of luxury and sport combined.

Typically sport and luxury are complete opposites, but yet BMW continues to stun us with just how well a luxury sedan can perform when engineered similar to a sports car. Each vehicle is tested on the Nurburgring, and can be seen in many spy videos confirming it's Nurburgring heritage. Drifting one of these machines can be done even when they are totally stock with just a quick disabling of the traction control systems. Always rear wheel drive, BMW has built it's name around legendary racing success. The drifting world is new to BMW, but if the following clip is any indication of what's to come; BMW has a very bright future in drifting.
