Sibling's Indifference - Understanding

Thus far in our series, Sibling's Indifference, we have discussed how siblings, even twins, are different. The first step to dealing with those differences is to accept and realize the fact : there are differences. Many of them.

Second step, as you can see from our title is understanding. Understanding what those differences might be.

Looking in as a parent is one way. Another way is to also place yourself in one of your children's shoes and try to read how he/she might be feeling towards his/her siblings.

It might be completely helpful to put yourself in each of your children's shoes, but do not forget your important rule as a parent. Rule number one is to be fair.
