Did you know that Si Robertson on “Duck Dynasty” is married? Well, “Jack,” he certainly is married, and many ladies across the country are very disappointed!
Uncle Si, as he is known on the top-rated program on A & E Network, is scripted as a single man on the program. His wife, Christine Robertson, does not appear on the program. You can see a photograph of Christine Robertson here. This photo from Miss Kaye’s 65th birthday party was posted by Jep’s wife Jessica.
On an A & E video, Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the Robertson clan, is shown discussing the number of marriage proposals that Si Robertson receives every week! Evidently, this prompted an announcement by Si Robertson on the Si Robertson Facebook Page that he had been happily married for 43 years. This shocked everyone. You can read about that Facebook announcement here.
Si Robertson is a Vietnam Vet and all-around funny guy. It is possible and even probable that some of his personality is purposefully done for the effect, and that’s o.k. He has won the hearts of people all over America with his funny mispronounced words and backwards phrases. Every time he says, “Hey,” “Jack,” or some other “Si-ism,” as they are called, people echo Si with Tweets on Twitter.
Si Robertson is never without his famous Tupperware plastic cup that holds his iced tea. His mother sent it to him when he was in Viet Nam, and he has carried it with him ever since. This sweet, sentimental gesture just makes him more alluring to women! (At least we know now that there is a woman washing the cup every night.)
The new episode of “Duck Dynasty,” complete with Si Robertson, begins a new season on Wednesday, February 27, at 10 p.m. EST, and the anticipation is building.
