Last night’s show featured a few other stories, such as Sadie’s Homecoming dress shopping trip, which also included Uncle Si. However, most of the show was about Uncle Si spending the $2,000 that he won at a Duck Commander employee casino night.
Originally, he bought a massage chair to use at work, which Willie promptly threw out of the warehouse. The trip to return the chair turned into a day at a kid’s pizzeria, similar to Chuck E. Cheese. They just stopped in to get a few pieces of pizza that Si really likes.
“Duck Dynasty” is loosely referred to as a “reality show,” but viewers understand it is somewhat scripted, and that’s all right with them. It’s real in all the ways that matter: the families, the duck call, the Duck Commander Company, and the faith they espouse.
Whether Willie really would take a day at Chuck E. Cheese (or whatever it is) with his Uncle Si Robertson to win tickets to purchase a purple gorilla is not really that important!
Si Robertson fans got their fair share of Uncle Si last night, and by the way, his luck is still holding. He went home with the big purple gorilla. You recall how lucky he is, don’t you?
