Thankfully Mercedes-Benz and Shwood Eyewear have collaborated in celebration of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to fill this void for those who have yet to catch on, or simply want to purchase a new pair. The limited-edition collaboration with Mercedes-Benz was developed to highlight the first of the five senses and the S-Class’ remarkable camera and radar detection system, giving the car “sight” like never before.
Shwood sunglasses included in the customized collection are made from the eight dashboard woods available in the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class model. A limited amount, all numbered, are available for $595 each exclusively at www.shwoodshop.com.
Throughout Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz will also be handing out silver cards in The House of Mercedes-Benz boutique that Fashion Show attendees can redeem for the chance to win a pair of semi-customized Shwood for Mercedes-Benz sunglasses. This separate collection of 40 pairs, priced at $400 each, will be given on-site to winners throughout the week who share photos of what “Essence of Luxury” means to them via their social channels using the #MBFW hashtag.
In addition, Mercedes-Benz will host a national giveaway of four of the ultra-customized sunglasses through their Facebook page for those unable to partake in MBFW activities.
