Shwayze's homecoming at The Malibu Inn (Photos)

Shwayze’s last stop of the "Shwayzed and Confused Tour" ended at The Malibu Inn, on Feb. 8. Paul Couture and Terraplane Sun were the opening acts.

Nikko Gray was the backup vocalist, Johnny Zambetti was the guitarist, Tanner Wayne was the drummer and disc jockey BVillain accompanied Shwayze. Sky Blu of LMFAO, Terraplane Sun and Paul Couture made special appearances, during Shwayze’s set.

Before Shwayze’s homecoming began, the anticipation from the audience intensified. They chanted his name, while the general admission area continuously shifted from multiple directions. As he walked on stage, he greeted them and began his set with “Bolt”.

During “West Coast Party”, LMFAO’s Sky Blu joined Shwayze on stage. Shwayze went onto say Malibu had the best weed and women, in Calif. Throughout the set, he encouraged everyone to make a ‘W’ with their fingers and raise their arms above their heads.

After “Roamin’”, Shwayze introduced “Rich Girls” by explaining how broke men are attracted to and spoiled by them. He thanked the opening acts, admitted to being under the influence of alcohol and jokingly asked everyone to pardon his French. He didn’t let it prevent him from jumping up and down with those in attendance and into “Better Than Most Loves”.

When “Ghosts” came to end and the lights were no longer dim, Shwayze removed his shirt and was welcomed by howls and screams from the female fans. He continued on with “Get U Home”, as the spectators sang along with him.

Terraplane Sun assisted Shwayze, during “So High”. The two acts were able to casually blend in Red Hot Chili Pepper’s “Under The Bridge”. Lead singer of Terraplane Sun, Ben Rothbard, provided the chorus and bridge of “Under The Bridge” and everyone sang with him. After Terraplane Sun left the stage, Shwayze continued on with “Island in the Sun”.

Couture aided Shwayze’s last song, “Love is Overrated”, to bring an end to the evening. Before he began—he asked for audience participation, if they could sing the first half of the chorus and he would finish the rest. With his crowd under his command, they obliged. During and after the song, Shwayze and his band threw t-shirts into the crowd and took a picture for his Instagram.

“Livin’ It Up”, “Drunk Off Your Love”, “Sally Is A…”, “Corona And Lime”, “How I Want It”, “Scrooge McDuck” and “Buzzin’” were also a part of Shwayze’s set.
