Shred your fat pants

Who isn’t looking to lose weight in 2013? It seems to be the number one New Year’s resolution for many people, yet it’s on the list each year.

Perhaps it is because we are so busy it is hard to fit in an hour long workout. Why not workout smarter rather than harder by doing a short challenging workout?

HIT or High Intensity Training is about giving it you’re all then resting a minute or two and doing it again.

It is so popular because you can burn more calories by confusing the body and making it work harder. Plus it’s not boring.

If you were able to catch the Dr. Oz show “Shred your fat pants” you may have seen him do this HIT workout and these 4 fat buster moves:

  1. Chair Squats – Works the quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes. Don’t sit all the way down on the chair simply leave about 2 inches from it and feel the burn.
  2. Side Shuffles – Works the glutes, inner and outer thighs, and quadriceps plus is a great cardio workout.
  3. Step-ups – Works legs and buttocks and builds strength and endurance just use a sturdy chair and come up on the same leg as you go down on as you alternate stepping up.
  4. Jump rope – Burns a ton of calories. Do single jumps or if you can’t jump rope just place the rope on the floor and hop over it back and forth.

Give this workout your all and try to do each move for one to two minutes and complete 3 rounds in this order. You’re going to “Shred your fat pants” in no time.
