Showtime announced on Saturday (Jan. 12) the premiere dates for several of its new and returning series, including "Dexter," "Homeland," "The Borgias," "Nurse Jackie," "The Big C" and the debuts of "Masters of Sex" and "Ray Donovan."
The biggest news is that Season 8 of "Dexter" will premiere earlier than expected on Sunday, June 30 at 9/8 p.m. CT. The presumably final season of the serial killer drama will be paired with new series "Ray Donovan," which stars Liev Schreiber as a brutal Hollywood fixer and Jon Voight as his ex-con father.
Breakout thriller "Homeland" will return for Season 3 on Sunday, September 29, leading into "Masters of Sex," a period piece starring Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as the real-life pioneering sex researchers, William Masters and Virginia Johnson.
The network also revealed that "Inside Comedy" will be back starting on Monday, Feb. 11 at 11/10 p.m. CT. Guests will include Tina Fey, Louis C.K., Steve Martin and Will Ferrell.
"Nurse Jackie" and period drama "The Borgias" will both return for their latest seasons on Sunday, April 14 at 9/8 p.m. CT and 10/9 p.m. CT, respectively.
Lastly, the Laura Linney-starring cancer drama "The Big C" will premiere a four-part, four-hour conclusion, subtitled 'Hereafter,' on Monday, April 29 at 10/9 p.m. CT.
