Thursday night is basically Blunt Club night - who do they have at the Yucca Tap Room this week ?

In addition to the Beat the Heat Water Bottle drive for homeless youth water donation, Blunt Club this week features “When Worlds Collide” - The first Annual Hip Step Zulu Dance Battle and Charity Fundraiser with guests Rob Nasty and Shockwave Evil Deeva, and DJ Chris Villa, Javin Silao (Streetboxx|Power 98.3), DJ M2 (GrooveCandy) & Pickster One. Another big night at the premier hiphop night anywhere near here !

Friday, Crescent Ballroom is the place to be, as the popular 'Cover the Crescent' night brings all sorts of fans to hear all sorts of styles of music ! This time we've got Minibosses, Sweetbleeders, Roar & Treasure Mammal performing Radiohead's OK Computer, Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra performing Portishead's Dummy, and There is Danger performing Wilco's Yankee Foxtrot Hotel. What a lineup !

Saturday I must recommend Crescent Ballroom yet again, as Jared and the Mill come back from touring to a welcoming Arizona crowd - opening is Captain Squeegee, Bears of Manitou, and Cerny Brothers. Tickets can be found here.

It's as always a great weekend for shows here in the Valley - are you going to these or any other shows this week ? Let us know in the comments below !
