A cold front will continue to move slowly southward across the region today. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely through this morning, with scattered showers lingering this afternoon as the cold front moves to our south.
It will be humid today, but temperatures will not be nearly as warm as the past couple of days. Highs will reach the mid 70s this afternoon.
A secondary cold front will approach from the north tonight. It will remain partly to mostly cloudy across the area tonight, and there will be a chance of showers, especially across the north and east. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 40s to low 50s, except upper 50s near the lake shore.
On Friday, cool air will settle southward across the lake. Under mostly cloudy skies, scattered lake effect/enhanced rain showers will continue across much of northeastern Ohio. Highs will only reach the upper 50s across in most areas, with low 60s expected near the lake shore.
High pressure will build across the area Friday night. Drier air will help to end the lake effect showers and skies will become partly cloudy overnight. Lows Friday night will fall to the low to mid 40s in most areas. Locations near the lake shore will remain a bit warmer.
Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 60s.
Saturday night will be clear and chilly with lows in the upper 30s in the normally colder spots, with 40s expected elsewhere.
Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs around 70.
