Anyone who has seen an appearance by Adam Lambert in the past year, is familiar with his musical director and guitarist Monte Pittman. Pittman had played in bands Citizen Vein and Prong and is also the guitarist for Madonna.
His first solo album, "The Deepest Dark", was released in November 2009. The album is a mellow collection of acoustic work. The 11 track album was written entirely by him, with the exception of “The Circle”, which was co-written by Adam Lambert and Tommy Victor, and had been previously recorded by his band, The Citizen Vein.
Pittman is working on a follow up to "The Deepest Dark".
