Shovels and Rope return to Memphis

Husband and wife duo Shovels and Rope (Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent) will return to Memphis on July 16. After a phenomenal performance at the Hi Tone Cafe in February, the duo will perform at the 1884 Lounge in Minglewood Hall to continue to support their 2012 release O' Be Joyful. Their performance was originally scheduled as a support act for the band Dawes, but when Dawes postponed, Shovels and Rope took the headline duty, of which they’re more than capable. The Charleston duo has enjoyed much success over the last year, including a recent slot on Late Show With David Letterman.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 the day of the show.

For more information, visit Minglewood Hall or Shovels and Rope.
