Shout Factory brings Transformers Energon the complete series to DVD

Ever since the Generation 1 Transformers series burst onto the seen in 1984 the franchise has been dominating everything from comics, toys, live action features, and numerous animated series.

In 2002 Hasbro and Takara teamed up to bring Transformers: Armada to the small screen in hopes to re-introduce the franchise to the kids of that time which Shout Factory brought the complete series to DVD in March. Now fans can pick up on the second half of the Unicron Trilogy with Transformers: Energon the Complete Series coming to DVD in May.

This series kicks off after ten years of peace have passed since UNICRON’s destruction, but all of that’s about to change. A mysterious enemy has unleashed the TERRORCONS on the AUTOBOTS’ cities, gathering energy for plans of total domination. Enter a newly revived MEGATRON and the universe is in for a war unlike any it’s ever seen between the AUTOBOTS and the DECEPTICONS. And once again, Earth is caught in the middle!

This is sure to be a must have collection for any Transformers fan so be sure to grab your copy of Transformers: Energon The Complete Series when it hits DVD in May.
