Shout factory continues its domination of the 2014 horror classic releases with bringing the cult hits to blu-ray. The latest getting the Scream Factory treatment is Sleepaway Camp Collector’s Edition hitting Blu-ray for the first time.

If you have never seen this slasher shocker it follows Angela Baker who went to live with her eccentric Aunt Martha and her cousin Ricky after a terrible boating accident killed her family. Martha decides to send them both to Camp Arawak, a place to enjoy the great outdoors. Shortly after their arrival, a series of bizarre and violent “accidents” begin to claim the lives of various campers. Has a dark secret returned from the camp’s past…or will an unspeakable horror end the Summer season for all?

The film was directed by Robert Hiltzik and sports what most consider to be the greatest twist ending in horror history and spawned numerous sequels. Fans will no doubt want to grab a copy of this latest release that not only features the film but also a collectible cover, featuring newly rendered retro-style artwork, a reversible cover wrap with original theatrical key art. I n addition, those that order SLEEPAWAY CAMP Collector’s Edition Blu-ray from ScreamfactoryDVD.com will receive the exclusive 18”x24” poster featuring the newly commissioned artwork while supplies last.
