Lack of updated health care for women was paid for greatly by women with their health and early death and the majority of women did not live pas the age of 35 and the lack of support by the government to enforce better standards before the era of birth control. Surgeries and pharmaceutical drugs were only tested on men and women lacked proper heart health for the same reason.
Women’s health premiums
This is one can of worms, gender-based anything, it’s shocking to hear in this day and age. We are raising the feminine principle not laying it down on the railroad tracks. If medical bills are killing us it’s the medical industry we need to look at. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind healthcare is overpriced.
The medical industry is a booming big business
A universal healthcare system is what the masses cried we need to cover those who do not have health insurance. Insurance premiums skyrocketed after 9/11. Everything changed after that infamous day, and we are still paying for it.
The largest losses in history
It changed the way the insurers think and the way the insurance game is now played. Insurance companies were quick to join the government 2003 Terrorism Risk Insurance Program, meaning everyone shares the risk, the largest property losses, the largest worker compensation losses, and aviation losses. The stock market fell and so they did globally. Some 200 insurers raised the glass ceiling which we all pay for now.
Health insurance is the gift that keeps giving
It pays to keep the doctors away, premiums are lower for fit people and non-smokers than they are for those in ill health. The healthier you are the less likely you are to retire early which lay claims to bigger social security benefits.
Starting in 2014 most insurance isn’t allowed to refuse you
If you’re self-employed or your employer doesn’t offer coverage shop Healthcare.gov or EHealthInsurance.com.
Gender-based pricing for anything is illegal
Many city’s Department of Consumer Affairs, began stepping up to the plate and enforcing the law. Salons and barbershops and dry cleaning have been hit hard and fined. Does someone who is transgendered pay less to have their blouses dry cleaned?
Depending on male or female, who you are and how you spend your lifetime, anything can happen. Men as well as women can get breast cancer, women carry the responsibility of childbirth, but also take better care of themselves. Men are prone to accidents three times more than women that may take their life. Obamacare insurance premiums are a sore subject and one can’t help but wonder how long the program will be around.
When we get a new president will we get new health insurance
Some men require long hospital stays, some women will never see, in the end it balances out. In the beginning preventative health measures are the way to go. How to make people stay in the practice of keeping their health up is another. They fall in and out of marriages and relationships that depress and suck the life from them, leading them not to care anymore about their own health. Younger adults think they are walking tanks and need no insurance let alone need to take preventative health measures because they think they will live and be healthy forever.
The insurance premiums should be the same for both male and female, it all comes out in the wash in the end. It’s not about fairness, because there are so many things in life that are not fair and you have absolute control over. It’s not about constantly keeping score will unravel any relationship in a hurry. Tit-for-tat never got anyone anywhere. It’s a disturbed and toxic way of thinking always seeking to get paid back or trying to keep things equal. It’s sweating the small stuff. There’s a lot you can’t track. You may be ahead in areas and behind in others and vice versa. You still must tend to your own needs
