It has become a serious effort on the caregivers part to consider other alternatives toward meeting the needs of his or her children with disorders, such as adhd, autism, hyperactivity, attention deficit, and other such related illnesses. For instance, there has been no significant study as to the intoxicating drug (marijuana) that is administered to children with autism, though the drug is known to be a help to some caregivers who like to think that this drug is acting more in terms of a miracle drug, in which is classified as being an illegal drug, and can be harmful if abused; also is known to be addictive and may cause or lead to other infractions of diseases to ones body. Moreover, It is somewhat determined by ongoing research that if a child with autism is medically treated with marijuana he or she may be more prone to developing schizophrenia

No specific research has been based on using what can be a harmful drug as a cure; but according to families who have faced more distressing health conditions with their children who have a disorder, mainly children with autism, the fact to the matter of resorting to administer marijuana is a caregivers choice to educate and bring more awareness to others in our society who can not find a combat system of natural or even other drugs to aid in the relief of comforting a child with autism expressly, in order to start living a normal life. A foundation is now in place to raise more awareness about research toward finding realistic treatments to make life easier for our children who suffer with all kinds of disorders. (Contributed sources, Good Morning America, Marijuana and Autism)
