There is a lot in the news recently about the gay community and their desire to force the Boy Scouts of America to accept homosexuals into their ranks. The reporter on CNN this morning asked this question and asked the public to go to their web page and voice their opinion.
The gay community has made a lot of milestones recently by filing law suits and by getting the media on their bandwagon to force non-government organizations to accept their lifestyles and way of life.
Once they won their battle against the military, they are bit by bit taking on other battles. What is really behind all of this?
Should a private organization dedicated to the character building of children be forced to change their rules and regulations for one group who just do not want to adhere to their criteria? While the Supreme Court upheld their right to exclude homosexuals from their troops, they have recently seemed to have a change of heart.
On January 28, 2013, the BSA announced they were considering rescinding the ban on homosexuals, allowing chartered organizations to determine local policy. After being previously being determined in their ways of upholding their pledge, they seem to be weakening in their resolve to not allow homosexuals as members; but also as leaders. While girls cannot be in the Boy Scouts, women can be leaders of Boy Scout Troops.
Scouts do not operate totally on their own and depend on outside donations to be able to implement their programs. They partner with other community organizations, churches and other religious congregations.
First a brief review of just who and what the Boy Scouts of America is and what they stand for.
“The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, with 2.7 million youth members and over 1 million adult volunteers. Since its founding in 1910 as part of the international Scout Movement, more than 110 million Americans have been members of the BSA.” (What a mission field for the corruption of American youth.)
“The BSA goal is to train youth in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance through participation in a wide range of outdoor activities, educational programs, and, at older age levels, career-oriented programs in partnership with community organizations.”
Listed here is a sampling list of famous men who were not only Scouts; but were Eagle Scouts. For a longer more complete list check here for Eagles Scouts as well as those who did not achieve that status; but none-the-less were Scouts reaching various other levels. Both former Presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton were Cub Scouts. From the long list of famous achievers you can readily see that apparently Boy Scouts of America had an effect on their lives and accomplishments.

What Boys Scouts have to say about their organization:

Will over a century of scouting and good results in the lives of young men be endangered by allowing gays to be a part of their organization? Is it really all about the boys who at a very tender age feel that they are “different” from other boys or is this about power grabs from those who continue to force their ideals and lifestyles on others. If they cave in and accept gays will that also mean that they will have adult leaders who will be influencing all boys of all ages?
The Gay Community says that combining “straight” boys and “gay” boys will make the organization stronger. Stronger for what?
Will this move make any difference in BSA programs and their mission to help build character and moral integrity in young men? How will the boys accept each other and will this cause bullying and other undesirable traits in boys who otherwise came to develop good character? Will this not be cohesive but divisive?
The argument is how does it make young boys feel that are not allowed to join who have openly decided that they are gay versus the other boys who will feel uncomfortable and will possibly drop out. At this age, the parents have the power; much unlike Hitler’s Youth Programs that were mandatory.
But there seems to be a larger picture developing here. Just where will the Gay Community and the government stop at intervening in the lives of the citizenry and private organizations?????
Will this be the first stepping stone in controlling children in a biased way such as most liberal public schools have done for decades? Is the issue really about being gay or not being gay; but more government control over the youth of America? Based on their past accomplishments with the ever troubled youth of America, that is questionable. Will this result in “throwing the baby out with the bathwater?” .
Will this result in more and more government regulations of private organizations? Will churches and other organizations fall subject and prey to the government’s dogma?
Fuel for thought?
Sunday School classes will no longer be able to teach their interpretation of the Bible?
Private clubs will no longer be able to make their own requirements for membership?
Will there one day be a time when gender will be a thing of the past and all people will be treated as non-gendered people? Will the roles of men and women become indistinguishable?
Will business owners no longer make up their own rules and regulations or will everything and every aspect of American life be controlled by the government? Will they have to hire those that the government chooses? Will America continue the pathway of appeasing the few in lieu of the masses? Will America one day become a totally socialist nation?
Remember the Hitler Youth Movement before his attempt to conquer the world? Will it one day here in America become like his movement where it became compulsory to join the Youth Movement. Read about how the Youth Movement of Hitler began.
“Movements for youngsters were part of German culture and the Hitler Youth had been created in the 1920's. By 1933 its membership stood at 100,000. After Hitler came to power, all other youth movements were abolished and as a result the Hitler Youth grew quickly. In 1936, the figure stood at 4 million members. In 1936, it became all but compulsory to join the Hitler Youth. Youths could avoid doing any active service if they paid their subscription but this became all but impossible after 1939.
The belief is that this was how Hitler gained the momentum of the German people to participate in one of the world’s worst regimes and the Holocaust that followed. While Boy Scouts are seemingly being forced to accept homosexuals – will one day all of America’s Youth be forced to join a Socialist/Communist group that will train them in hatred and destruction?

Hitler said, "The weak must be chiseled away. I want young men and women who can suffer pain. A young German must be as swift as a greyhound, as tough as leather, and as hard as Krupp's steel." I am sure he meant hard at heart better known as “mean.”
