Attorney General Eric Holder, says The Justice Department, has been taken to hospital.

This has been done as a precaution after Attorney General Holder experienced some faintness and shortness of breath while he was at work.

Press have reported that a statement saying Holder is "resting comfortably and in good condition" at a hospital in Washington has been released.

Attorney General Holder started feeling unwell while he was in a morning meeting with his senior staff, says The Wall Street Journal.

"The department says the 63-year-old attorney general is alert, talking with his doctors, and undergoing further evaluation," reports Newser.com

"This is worrying news," says San Francisco resident, Alice Marshall.

This news has just come in and as of yet, no additional information has been provided to the media.
