If you feel like a short break from your regular school schedule for a few weeks, doing something interesting and out of the ordinary, Learn Beyond The Book is offering a lot of fun and educational short term workshops. There is something for everyone.
Some workshops are just a few hours while others are a few weeks. The offerings include Recycled Art Workshop, STAR Test Prep & Test Taking Workshops, Build-A-Brand, Dare to Doodle, Cooking 101, and Babysitting 101. You can find all the details here. Some workshops are on Fridays, some during the week. The workshops during the week start when many children finish up their commitment at Canyon Theater Guild’s theater workshop.
As usual you will find that these workshops have NO registration fee. Short term workshops are good for many reasons. They are cheaper than semester long classes, you can try out a new teacher that your child has never had before and then you know their teaching style for the future, plus it is less of a time commitment if it is only for a few weeks.
