The fashion school of the south is stepping it up once again & this time with a little retail therapy. The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) are taking part in Midtown Alliance’s “Midtown Pop-up Shops” with a special shopSCAD boutique located at 990 Peachtree Street. Map it HERE.
For anyone who has visited the brick & mortar location in Savannah knows that this unique & exceptional gallery-shop has something special for everyone. The temporary Atlanta spot will not let its shoppers down, providing an assortment of cutting-edge décor, fashion and accessories and original fine art – all created by the talented community of SCAD student, alumni and faculty artists. Included in the shopSCAD Pop-up is an array of fun and functional gift ideas, new products from Working Class Studio, and beverages supplied by Octane Coffee.
The "pop-up" shopping experience has proven to be a popular marketing initiative in economic powerhouse communities such as SoHo in Manhattan, and Midtown business leaders identified this as a smart next step in attracting retailers to the community.
The Pop-up takes place, December 2-5, Thursday - Saturday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. Complimentary parking is available on Crescent St. directly behind the Margaret Mitchell House.
