I was rushing down 34th Street in Manhattan, running errands, when I realized that something was going on at Joe Fresh. Even though I have declared 2013 my 'stay away from shopping' year, $5 sale signs cannot be ignored.
I wandered in and found that colored and floral printed jeans were on offer for $9, cute sparkly miniskirts were $5, and silk pajama tops (plain and patterned) were also $5. The matching pajama pants were going for $19, though.
There were sweaters from $9 and $19, and crisp button down shirts for $9. Wool and neoprene coats were available, and wool cropped jackets were offered at $19. A tub of seamless nylon underwear was $5 for 3 pairs.
Skinny belts were $5, and scarves were $14, but those cute neoprene pouches by the counter were still at $4 and $6. I ended up with a sparkly plastic sequined mini and an emerald green pajama style blouse with chain pattern, both priced at $5. I almost got a wool motocross jacket but decided to stop while I was ahead.
The store is located 215 W 34th St , New York, NY 10001and their number is 646.692.9046. Wear leggings or skinny jeans and a t-shirt so that you can try things on over your clothes. The sale is supposed to last until they close for renovations on March 4th, 2013.
