A partnership between Master Card and Conde Nast, the publisher of Vogue, Wired, Vanity Fair and other popular magazines was announced on Tuesday. The partnership will begin in the November tablet edition of Wired, due on October 15.
Howard Mittman, vice president and publisher of Wired, said in a statement. "Our goal is to deliver the ability to purchase from Wired seamlessly, and this relationship represents a crucial first step in converting our content to commerce."

Paydiant, a company that develops mobile platform for clients in the finance and retail industries, has created a technology for scanning a QR, or quick response, code off a television screen to redeem a coupon while watching a television commercial.
Chris Gardner, co-founder of Paydiant states that it is developed, but not deployed yet.
The one-touch shopping function is one of several products being tested in the MasterCard Labs; there is no word on when or if it will reach other publications, reports Stephanie Milot today in The N.Y. Times today.
