Antiques, dog treats and clothes, jewelry, raffle and yard sale deals are just a few of the things available at Saturday’s free “Why Wait Sale” in Orangevale.
Chuck Cleveland, property manager of Rollingwood Duplex Homes, is hosting the event at the residential community.
“We’re all cat and dog lovers here,” says Cleveland, noting that the homes' fenced backyards have allowed residents to own dogs of all sizes.
Andrea Cordova, owner of Pet Pastries by Andrea Cordova, created the Why Wait Sale as an opportunity for people to shop while supporting Animal Outreach and other rescues.
“This is a great chance to buy unique items for people, their homes and pets,” say Cordova, “that aren’t the same old stuff you’d see in every mall.”
“Why wait for the busy holiday season, when you’ll be fighting the crowds in stores to find something special?” Cordova adds with a grin.
Rollingwood residents will have great yard sale goodies, and other booths include t-shirts, Mary Kay products from Marianna Sauser and Deborah Fieldson, Premier Designs jewelry from Janice George and Marcia Freed massage.
Fun, functional and fashionable clothing for dogs, made by local artisan Guen Kelly, owner of Couture Canine Creations, will be available at the event as well. Check out the large selection human gifts and dog costumes that will have your pooch a Halloween sensation.
Renowned Sacramento teacher and author Sarah Kesty’s new children’s book, “Everyone Has Something” will be available for sale and as one of the raffle prizes.
