A source has told the Chicago Tribune, "the victim was shot in the head and died on scene." The Bank of America building is near the Chicago Board of Trade and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. It is also a mere two blocks from the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower), currently America's second tallest building. No information is currently available in a suspect or suspects.
As of 11:08AM CST, Fox17 has reported that, "the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed there are two people dead ..." The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has temporarily rerouted buses around the affected area.
