Early afternoon on Thursday, My Fox 29 reports that a Pennsylvania hospital is on lockdown after reports of a shooting. My Fox News is currently following the breaking news happening in the Wellness Center in Darby, PA.

One person has already been reported dead. Several other victims suffered injuries, currently being treated. The shooting occurred just before 2 p.m. inside Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital located on the 1500 Lansdowne Avenue.

“A suspect is reported to be in custody,” the news site reports. The condition of the victim is not known. Police are also trying to determine whether the suspect is the only one involved. Police have evacuated the Wellness Center as SWAT officers sweep the building. A perimeter has been established around the hospital by police to control the damage.

Heavy.com is surfacing shocking information about the tragedy. “While we don’t know the conditions of all of the victims, one doctor was shot in the head,” the source claims. We did find another source that also reports a doctor has been shot, but no details on his injuries are official.

The same source also shares that a hospital official said he heard around seven shots fired during the incident. The other victims have been taken to the trauma center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in nearby Philadelphia, an ambulance could be seen leaving the hospital.
