The victim, a 60 year-old airport baggage handler is in critical condition at Kings County Hospital after being shot in the head early Friday morning.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., the victim made a purchase at the service counter of a deli at 41 Lincoln Road in the Lefferts Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn. As he stood at the counter, the four suspects approached the same deli. One suspect drew a gun and fired into the deli, but did not strike anyone. The victim walked away from the counter, but the gunman followed and shot him in the head at point blank range. The other three suspects ran away.
Police released video footage of the four suspects from a camera in the area hours before the shooting.
The gunman is described as a black male, in his late twenties with a beard and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray and black striped hooded shirt under a darker sweatshirt. The second suspect wore a shirt with an Adidas logo on the front under a hooded sweatshirt with black and white sneakers. Police say the third suspect was wearing a red and black lumberjack style jacket. The fourth suspect wore a gray hooded sweatshirt.
