As Memorial Day has come and gone, Cleveland looks forward into the months of summer. These are the days where windows and doors get opened and patios throughout the city are filled. One of the greatest patios in the city is found on the west bank of the flats at Shooters on the Water.
From now through August, music will fill the air every weekend. Shooters will host DJ’s every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night—turning the wooden deck into one of the city’s hottest dance parties. The DJ takes control at 9pm each night, spinning tunes all the way through to 2am.
Saturdays and Sundays double up the music fun, bringing live bands in each day from 5pm to 9pm. Traditionally, Sundays were always reggae—but this year’s line up branches out from that mold hosting many of Cleveland’s popular club bands. Undoubtedly, the handful of times Cleveland’s face of hometown reggae—Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band—hit the stage will be some of the best parties of the summer. The dates for the reggae vibe to hit the banks of the Cuyahoga are: June 9th, July 14th, August 11th, and September 8th.
