Shooter's 'killer' T-shirt outrage: T.J. Lane sentenced in Chardon murders (Video)

T.J. Lane appeared in court Tuesday for sentencing, and the shooter's “killer” T-shirt has people outraged. Lane confessed to murdering three teens at Chardon High School, and Huffington Post shared the details of the killer's outburst on March 19.

Lane pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated murder along with several other charges, and he was given three life sentences without the possibility of parole. He was 17-years-old when he committed the murders, thus he could not be given the death penalty.

During sentencing, the shooter's “killer” T-shirt was visible after he took off a shirt that had been over it. T.J. Lane then raised his middle finger to the victims' families and toss out some clearly hateful language toward them. Lane even smiled and he said, “The hand that pulls the trigger that killed your sons now masturbates to the memory.”

Prosecutors allege that in February 2012 Lane fired 10 shots into a group of students in the Chardon High School cafeteria. The burst killed Demetrius Hewlin, Russell King Jr. and Daniel Parmertor. T.J. Lane received the maximum penalty available Tuesday in court. Many online are outraged that the shooter's “killer” T-shirt was even allowed to be seen, and most think he has some very challenging years ahead of him, despite his cocky bravado.
