Red 5 Studios, Inc. has announced the release date for their MMO “Firefall”! July 8, 2014 the company announced that the new game will be launched July 29, 2014. Available for PC the game can be downloaded through Steam or Firefall.com.
Red 5 thanks the community for their feedback and participation in “Firefall”’s beta period which has contributed to the games progress and upcoming release. CEO of Red 5 Studios said, “ . . .Firefall wasn’t complete until we were able to incorporate the invaluable feedback from our enthusiastic community during the beta period. Firefall is as much their game as it is ours.” It’s always nice when game developers and players are in communication with each other, especially for an MMO which will rely heavily on community involvement.
With the lines of communication open between Red 5 and their players “Firefall” looks like it’s off to a great start. The game is a dynamic open-world shooter MMO. The beautiful world has two continents full of story-driven content and instances. The MMO will also feature fast-paced combat and action-filled missions and quests.
Players will begin their journey as an ARES pilot, an ACCORD operative tasked with reclaiming Earth. ARES pilots must fight against the invading race called the Chosen to take back the planet. Collect equipment and materials as you go to upgrade your weapons and abilities. Test your skills with a plethora of PVE content or against other players on a PVP continent.
“Firefall” will be completely free-to-play but will have cosmetic and convenience upgrades for sale. There will also be Special “Firefall” Launch Packs available for purchase that will include items such as exclusive multiplayer vehicles, digital soundtracks and concept art. The company also announced a new website, firefall.com,where fans can go to get all the latest news on the game.
When “Firefall” launches on July, 29, 2014 it will bring an enormous amount of content compared to what players have seen in the Beta. “The update we are releasing for launch will be the largest update we have ever had,” said Macauley. “It will quadruple the amount of world space in Firefall and add roughly 15-times the amount of content we have had previously in Beta.” Look out for shooter MMO “Firefall” to be released later this year.
