Shoot for lower scores indoors at Virtual Sports Zone (Photos)

The High Definition Golf simulators at Virtual Sports Zone continue to help players tune up their games this offseason.

Men and women golfers from Orleans, Cumberland and Rockland who haven’t dropped in but are quite aware that the outdoor season will be here before they know it - the Ottawa-Gatineau GolfExpo is just around the corner on March 9-10 - would do their games a favour by checking out the latest generation simulators.

Here are available screen times for the next five days:

  • Feb. 15: Three HD simulators are open from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and one machine is open from 5:30 p.m. until closing.
  • Feb. 16: One HD simulator is available from 4 p.m. until closing.
  • Feb. 17: One HD simulator can be booked from 11:30 a.m. until closing and a second simulator is available from 7 p.m. until closing.
  • Feb. 18: Two HD simulators are available from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. and one is open from 1 p.m. until closing.
  • Feb. 19: One machine can be booked from 9 a.m. until noon, another is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and two are bookable from noon to 6 p.m.

And players can now book a Full Swing Golf simulator for games and the two Visiotics machines for practice sessions.

VSZ is fully licensed and when it’s time for a bite to eat the staff serves pizza slices from Jumbo Pizza, hotdogs or will place orders with a nearby St. Hubert. There’s also a pizza special that includes two slices, a pop and a bag of chips for $5.99.

Seniors play for only $20 per person when games are booked for between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m.

VSZ invites groups planning special events such as birthday parties, stags and anniversaries to contact them for full-service package information.

The hours of operation are from 9 a.m. until midnight on weekdays and from 8 a.m. until midnight on weekends.

VSZ is located in Rockland at 733 rue Industrielle (Units 3-4). It is easily accessible off Old Hwy. 17.
