CNN has reported on Saturday that Whitney Houston, Mega Singer, Grammy-Award winner, has died at the age of 48 (1963-2012). We are all shocked and saddened to hear this devastating news. Mark Rosen, Lt. Beverly Hills Police Dept., has confirmed that Whitney Houston has passed. The death is under investigation. She was found on the fourth floor at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The BHPD received an emergency call at 3:23 pm, all attempts to revive Houston failed, and she was pronounced dead at 3:55 pm.
Whitney Houston was one of America’s favorite singers', and will always be; she had it in her as a little girl. At age five, Whitney started singing in the church. In 1980, Whitney began singing professionally. She grew up with a Christian background. Her mother Cissy Houston was a Gospel singer, and cousin, Dionne Warwick was a popular singer with a unique singing talent too.
Whitney was reported last seen Thursday at an event for singer, Kelly Price. As you read this post, you are no doubt shocked at this sad news. Whitney Houston will be missed all over the world. At the time of this post, we do not know the cause of death. What we do know is, Whitney has had a drug addition problem for many years, and has tried to overcome it. When married to Bobby Brown, Whitney was a victim of domestic violence, and continued to struggle with her addiction. She indicated that she had ‘conquered the demon’ over a year ago, when she appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show.
Whitney was born August 9, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey. She has died the night before the Grammy Awards. Whitney married singer-rapper Bobby Brown in 1992; they have a daughter, Bobbi Kristina, together.
Allen Duke, Entertainment Producer reported for CNN – Ray J, singer-entertainer, (Brandy’s brother) has been seen with Whitney lately. They had been together at the hotel for the past four days. Whitney was preparing for the Clive Davis event Saturday nite.

As of this posting, Whitney Houston’s body still at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Investigations are underway and the LA Coroner’s Office is conducting matters. Whitney Houston’s death takes us by shocking surprise and we are deeply saddened. Our hearts go out to Whitney Houston's family.
