Someday Americans may know the name of King Lincoln Bronzeville v. Blackwell like they know Brown v. Board of Education. This case was filed on August 31, 2006 over allegations stemming from vote count irregularities and voter suppression in violation of the 1st, 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution in the presidential election of 2004 in Ohio.
In an article on Common Dreams on Sunday 11/6/11 Bob Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman ask whether Proposition # 2 will be defeated by the 20 point margin it is leading by or will it be stolen, just like the 2004 election by a 1% intent on crushing working people and stealing huge sums of money.
Wasserman and Fitrakis have authored four books on election protection including, Did George W. Bush Steal America's 2004 Election?, As Goes Ohio: Election Theft since 2004, How the GOP Stole the 2004 Election, and What Happened in Ohio, so they know about election theft.
In July of 2011,http://www.freepress.org posted election maps of then Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell's 2004 voting operation. Blackwell, also a highly partisan Republican operative, had been working with Karl Rove to disenfranchise 300,000 mostly Democratic Party voters. But Blackwell's electronic reporting operation was also designed by a highly partisan Republican tech firm GovTech and linked directly to servers at the premier Republican tech company SmarTech in Chattanoga, Tennessee.
New filings in the King Lincoln Bronzeville case show that SmarTech was not hired to be a back-up but as a "man in the middle" operation, meaning they were set up to intentionally hack Blackwell's operation to alter the vote count. Stephen Spoonamore an IT expert was used by attorney's in the King Lincoln Bronzeville case as an expert witness to interview IT expert MIke Connell, who had worked for twenty years for the Bush family, and also did the IT work for Ken Blackwell, setting up the Ohio election reporting system including the link to SmarTech.
Spoonamore's affidavit documents how on the night of the 2004 election the results were sent to SmarTech even though there was no problem with the Ohio vote count. It is here that the vote changed from a four point lead and likely win for Kerry to a two point victory and the Presidency for Bush. Connell told Spoonamore that SmarTech had complete access to the results and had the capability to change the vote count.
When you couple this with an affidavit from Dr. Richard Hayes Phillips author of the book, Witness to a Crime, also about the stolen Ohio election of 2004 a clear picture of an elaborate election theft scheme becomes clear. Dr. Phillips whole affidavit can be read at http://www.velvetrevolution.us/electionstrikeforce/2008/09/motion_for_relief_of_stay_file.html At the end of the deposition by Dr. Phillips, he notes that after examining 126,000 ballots, 127poll books and 141 voter signature books from 18 Ohio counties that he found that there is so much evidence of ballot alterations, ballot substitutions, ballot box stuffing, ballot destruction, vote switching, tabulator rigging, and old fashioned voter suppression, that the results of the 2004 presidential election in all likelihood, have been reversed from Kerry to Bush. His affidavit names names and gives dates.
When you begin to understand how the vote in Ohio was taken and switched it brings to mind events like the ending to the Supreme Court election in Wisconsin with the discovery of 7,500 votes after the fact that handed the election to the Republican Prosser just in time for him to then find nothing wrong with Gov. Scott Walker's obvious violation of the Sunshine Act in pushing through a law to take away workplace rights. This type of hacking can be done without altering the number of ballots cast. So was this the reason Waukesha County was so late in both the Supreme Court and the recall elections in Wisconsin?
What about the election in Ohio over Proposition # 2 with another highly partisan Republican Governor John Kasich? Will this be a practice run for the wholesale voter suppression and theft by Republicans of the 2012 election, because they will stop at nothing to make Obama a one term president. Why should America believe in the election results of any Republican victory and more to the poinrt why should we abide by the results without a thorough investigation and most importantly why is the press ignoring this case?
