On May 26, 2014, Paul Shishis of Oshawa, Ontario was at work in Scarborough when he experienced the same sensation he has felt countless times before and knew he needed to check out the afternoon sky.
While on his break, he went outside “to our work parking lot with that feeling,” he said. “After about 10 minutes facing directly north, there was a brilliant white light along with a strange type of shape.”
He immediately took his camera from his pocket and took four pictures. After between 5 and 7 seconds, he said he lost sight of it.
“It just vanished!” Shishis said.
He hoped that during that short time, he had managed to capture the object on film.
“I then reviewed the photos to examine if I had captured what my eyes had witnessed,” he noted. “Only the first photo caught this unknown brilliant white aerial anomaly at 3:14 p.m.”
He estimated that the object was approximately one mile away and a few thousand feet high. Shishis added that within five minutes of taking the photos, a chem. trail appeared overhead.
He wishes to extend a special thank you to MG for picture enhancements.
