The Annual Shipley Shops Gift and Boutique Show is a half-century tradition that has been popular with Philadelphia area Main Line shoppers since 1961. This year’s event will take place October 16 – 19 at the Yarnall Gymnasium at the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr.
This four-day event features over 40 vendors from across the country and will be open to the public on Thursday, October 17 through Saturday, October 19. Twenty percent of all purchases benefit this coeducational, nonsectarian day school for pre-K-12th grade students, providing funds for technology initiatives, student financial aid and faculty professional development.
100% of the proceeds from Shipley's own booths, Collectibles and Pantry, will benefit the school, according to Shipley’s website, adding that this year Pantry welcomes Hope Cohen, cooking show host and author of Fast Fresh + Simple, for a cookbook signing during the Preview Party on Wednesday, October 16th from 6 - 9pm. Hope will also be available for an additional signing on Thursday, October 17th from 2 - 4pm.
Pantry’s booth will offer goodies from the following popular brands and suppliers: Anthropologie, Corso's Cookies, Hen House Linens, Isabella Sparrow, Lori Shinal, Stonewall Kitchen, Taylor's of Harrogate, Terrain, The Painted Lily,Valley Forge Flowers, and Walker's Shortbread
