Three African American Men Changing the Dynamics of Technology

There is no secret when it comes to African American men, the numbers are staggering and the reality is sobering, but Trinity Manning, Rod Brown, and Tyrone McLaughlin, have proven that they are born leaders.

The dynamic trio has taken the world by storm by creating one of the only African American electronic health care companies to date. OnceLogix, LLC is a minority-owned and operated software company that specializes in web-based solutions for the mental/behavioral healthcare industry. Headquartered in the Piedmont Triad Research Park in Winston-Salem, N.C., OnceLogix, LLC has developed one of the leading web-based tools used by the behavioral healthcare industry in the Southeast. Black Enterprise Magazine named the company the “Tech Startup of the Week” in 2013. Their breakout product ShareNote is a web-based software helps the medical and support staff at mental health companies maintain information in a secure, easy-to-use, database-driven system that is HIPPA-compliant, reduces costs, improves quality assurance and overall efficiency.

Rod Brown, COO told Black Enterprise Magazine that they had no idea what they were doing when it came to the industry they relied heavily on their clients needs and wants. The fact of the matter is, although they didn’t have all of the answers the three men triumphed over adversity and proved that they are leaders of technology!
