The following article is part of an ongoing effort to help homeless dogs in and around the Toronto/Hamilton area find suitable and loving homes. Sometimes this effort extends even further, since there are so many dogs that find themselves in dire circumstances. Currently, the need is great but the homes are few. Your help is desperately needed.
All Breed Canine Rescue (ABCR) of London, Ontario would like to introduce you to a sweet 5-year-old Shih Tzu named Puck.
This sweet boy originally came from a puppy mill and was not well socialized. However, he was adopted and well loved in his previous home but unfortunately, he did not take things too well when a new baby came into the house.
He’s a little bit shy at first when he meets people and animals but has been living with other dogs and two cats in his foster home and is getting along well. He also gets along well with older children.
Puck is fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, treated with Revolution, de-wormed and micro-chipped. He is also housetrained and does not bark excessively. He just likes to be cuddled.
To meet this great dog, send in the Adoption Application form on the left side of the website to: allbreedcaninerescue@sympatico.ca. Please put ‘Pet Inquiry: Puck PFId#21711132’in the subject line.
All Breed Canine Rescue saves dogs (and cats) of all ages, breeds and sizes from the St. Thomas and London city pounds. All dogs are fully vetted and placed in foster homes while they wait for forever homes. ABCR also works within a rescue network and helps dogs in other pounds or shelters when the resources are available. ABCR works with municipalities toward animal welfare initiatives within these communities.
