Shift supervisor wanted

The New York City Human Resources Administration, Department of Social Service (HRA/DSS), Emergency and Intervention Services (EIS) is recruiting for a Shift Supervisor in their Bronx Domestic Violence Shelter. The Bronx Domestic Violence Shelter is a one hundred and ninety-nine bed facility and is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The starting salary is $50,702.00 to $71,340.00 annually. The job ID number is 163694. The work location is in the Bronx at PO Box 6310 in the Domestic Violence Division. This job will be posted until September 8, 2014.

Minimum education requirements are; a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution and five years work experience in any of the following: manager in a hotel, nursing home or any other institution providing care.

Some of the duties that you will be responsible for are; responsible for coordination of shifts, monitor and oversee maintenance of facility, ensure that residents are provided with clean bedding and personal care items, provided with emergency food and maintain a daily log explaining shelter activities.
