Shia LaBeouf quits: Director responds 'I’m too old for disagreeable situations' (Video)

Actor Shia LaBeouf quits his Broadway gig over disagreements with actor Alec Baldwin who also appears in the play, reports Vulture on Feb. 21, 2013. "Orphans" is set to debut on April 7, and a replacement for LaBeouf has not been announced.

The 26-year-old actor did what many celebrities in the 21st century do, and that's report the news on Twitter. LaBeouf sent a long, rambling email to Baldwin, with a forward to the play's director Daniel Sullivan. At the end of it, he writes, "Alec, I'm sorry for my part of a dis-agreeable situation."

Baldwin, 54, responds in part with, "I don't have an unkind word to say about you. You have my word."

Sullivan writes back, "I’m too old for disagreeable situations. You’re one hell of a great actor. Alec is who he is. You are who you are. You two are incompatible. I should have known it."

Baldwin was recently in the news for a confrontation with a member of the paparazzi and allegedly using the N word at the photographer. Baldwin recently posted a link to a Gothamist article about the situation at his Twitter with the word "Interesting."

Some actors make the "difficult to work with" list. Should Baldwin and LaBeouf be added? Who will Daniel Sullivan find to replace LaBeouf?
