Leave it to Shia LaBeouf to wear a paper bag to a formal event. The actor donned the grocery store staple in a sartorial statement for "Nymphomaniac: Part 1" during the film's Berlin premiere on Feb. 9 as seen in many pictures of the event.
This fashion first not only had Shia wearing a paper bag on his head, but that paper bag sent a message. It spelled out in capital letters, "I am not famous anymore."
This painted slogan is not true, but has been posting on Shia LaBouf's Twitter feed that is called @thecampaignbook for almost an entire month.
The 27-year-old has been in a lot of hot water lately, and he has been saying he's sorry a lot lately. Meanwhile, he can't take back history. LaBeouf starred in such high profile flicks as "Transformers" and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and is definitely still famous. Otherwise, the paper bag fashion oddity would likely not be trending so heavily on Sunday.
So, as Shia LaBeouf dons a paper bag as a sartorial statement for the "Nymphomaniac" premiere at the Berlin Film Festival, he is becoming famous all over again for a very different reason than his acclaimed acting skills. Will Shia become a fashionista before too long? Stay tuned.
