Shia LaBeouf was assaulted in London this week because he wouldn't stop filming a woman who was vomiting on the street. Various media outlets (including UPI) reported on Oct. 11, 2013 that LaBeouf began filming sisters Ash and Isis Nawaz when Ash was getting sick on the street. He refused their requests to stop filming them. An unidentified man stepped in and tried to stop LaBeouf, who then turned the camera on the man.
The man then allegedly punched LaBeouf in the face and kicked him in the groin. The scuffle was broken up by bouncers at a nearby nightclub, according to various reports. No one was arrested in the incident. LaBeouf has not publicly commented on it.
Ash Nawaz later told The Sun: "I only realized it was Shia after he’d been beaten up. If I’d known, I’d have let him film me as much as he liked. I have a massive crush on him."
LaBeouf is in London filming the World Wat II drama "Fury," starring Brad Pitt, which is being planned for release in 2014 on a date to be announced.
This isn't the first time that LaBeouf has gotten into trouble. In 2007, he was arrested for trespassing after refusing a security guard's request to leave a Walgreens in Chicago. In 2008, LaBeouf was arrested for drunk driving in a car accident in Los Angeles that left him with a broken arm. Filming on "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" was affected by this injury. In 2011, he got into a bar fight in Sherman Oaks, Calif., but police declined to arrest anyone in the incident.
LaBeouf, a former star of Disney Channel's "Even Stevens, found international fame as the star of the first three "Transformers" movies. LaBeouf has said he is done with making "Transformers" movies. In recent years, he has been doing independent movies, including 2012's "Lawless"; 2013's "The Company You Keep" and "Charlie Countryman"; and 2014's "Nymphomaniac."
"Nymphomaniac," directed by controversial filmmaker Lars von Trier, features graphic, unsimulated sex scenes that used body doubles for the most explicit scenes. "Nymphomaniac" will be released in the U.S. by Magnolia Pictures in 2014, on a date to be announced. There will reportedly by two versions of the film: a very sexually explicit version and a less graphic version.
Other stars of "Nymphomaniac" include Uma Thurman, Willem Dafoe, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Stellan Skarsgård. The movie is about a woman named Joe (played by Gainsbourg), who describes her life as a nymphomaniac.
On Oct. 11, 2013, several individual poster stills (or one-sheets) were released, with each poster showing an actor or actress depicting orgasm during sex. The male actors are shown naked from the waist up in the posters. The public's reactions to the posters on the Internet have been mixed, with some people saying that the posters are erotic and visually provocative, while others are saying that they don't think the posters are sexy at all.
