Crossover star Sheryl Crow and country's hottest duo, Florida Georgia Line will announce the nominations for the 2013 Country Music Association awards. The announcement takes place on Tuesday, September 11, in New York. Good Morning America will air nominees from five categories during their broadcast. The remaining nominations will be announced when Sheryl Crow and Florida Georgia Line appear at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square.
Sheryl Crow's first full-length country album will be available in stores the same day. Her single, "Easy," sits in the top twenty on the Billboard Country Music Airplay chart. She is co-headlining a fall tour with country hit-maker Gary Allan this fall. Crow has made several appearances on the CMA Awards, including duets with Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn.
Florida Georgia Line are expected to be nominated for several awards, as the duo has experienced immense success during the past year. Their debut single, "Cruise," has found crossover success and was followed by another chart-topping single, "Shine On." They are currently opening for Luke Bryan this summer and will venture on their first headlining tour this fall.
The 47th Annual CMA Awards are slated for November 6, 2013 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will once again return as hosts. The awards ceremony will air live on ABC.
