Sherri Brake teaches Ghost Hunting 101

A community college in West Virgina is offering a new class this spring. Ghost Hunting 101 will be taught at the New River Community and Technical College by Sherri Brake. The paranormal classes begin on April 23.

Students participating in the class will learn about the paranormal field and basic ghost hunting techniques. Topics covered include; Defining A Paranormal Haunting vs. Paranormal Activity, Ghosts and Spirits, Demons and Hollywood, Ghosts in Photos, Tools of the Trade and How to Use Them, Proper Investigation Documentation, Safety Protocols, and West Virginia Haunted Locations.

Students will learn how to research a site and how to properly conduct an investigation. The class will cover various paranormal equipment and students will get hands-on experience and be shown how to use the equipment in the field.

Tuition is $75 and classes will be held from 5 to 9 pm at the West Virginia Workforce Building, located at 830 Northside Drive, in Summersville, West Virginia. For more information, call 304-883-2246.
