Minnesota-bred musician Sherman Ewing's new album features Bob Dylan's current rhythm section.
Drummer George Recile and bassist Tony Garnier appear on the forthcoming album, Single Room Saloon. The release will be available digitally January 11, with the CD available in brick-and-mortar record stores later in the spring. Recile previously guested on Ewing's 2002 release, Bluemoon.
Other artists linked to the album include Ivan Neville, Phish lyricist/keyboardist Tom Marshall, and JoJo Hermann (Widespread Panic), among many others.
Recile can be heard on the MP3 downloads of the original songs "Loving Cup" and "Emotion" (via Sherman Ewing's website).
