The Sheridan neighborhood is hosting an evening of discounts and entertainment along 13th Avenue Northeast Saturday night, February 6. The goal is to light up 13th Avenue NE, one of the hottest arts and dining destinations in the city.
The SNO Ball Crawl starts at 6 p.m., with special deals along 13th Avenue and culminates with dancing and live music at the historic Ritz Theater, an art deco movie house and focal point since 1926. Here is a great opportunity to get a close look at this architectural gem.
A $25 ticket is the admission price for food, beverages and store discounts. Proceeds from this SNO Ball Crawl will help pay for pedestrian streetlights along 13th Avenue.
More than a dozen restaurants and shops are participating in the Crawl from 6 to 8 p.m. They include: the Modern Café, 331 Club, The Anchor Fish & Chips, Northeast Social, Erte, Dusty’s, Easel Street, Matchbox Coffee, Jon Oulman Salon, NE Community Acupuncture, Megan Odell Acupuncture & Asian Medicine, Sally Cassellius Massage, Two 12 Pottery, and iware.
After the Crawl, shed your coats and hats and head to the Ritz at 8 p.m., for the main event hosted by Steph & Herbach of Electric Arc Radio and music by Pepper Patriot and Brett Tyler & the Tradewinds. The event includes a live auction, photo booth and outdoor ice patio hosted by Crispin Cider.
Tickets are $25 and available online here. Tickets are also available at Shuga Records, 165 13th Avenue NE, and through the Ritz Theater Box Office, 345 13th Avenue NE. Call 612 – 436-1129 for more information.
