The five 18-foot tall ballerina sculptures at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel greet guests at the hotel entrance. With Bronco season upon us, the ballerinas have donned orange tutus and leg warmers to be United in Orange through the Broncos playoff season.
Created by artist Ruth Keller Schweiss, the sculptures are a study of grace and described by the artist as “an uplifting spirit in exultation.” Exalting the Broncos fever that has taken the city by storm, the elegant sculptures are enjoying the team spirit themselves as playoff season commences.
In addition to the custom made attire out front of the hotel for the lovely ladies, Mix on 16th is offering Orange-tinis, Orange Crush cocktails and wheat beers served with orange slices. With backlit orange décor already in place in the chic 16th Street bar, the location is perfect for catching a game or a Broncos-inspired staycation in the Mile High City.
Make sure to read a review of the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel and make your plans for next game day to stop by the hotel.
