Shemar Moore, that sexy star of "Criminal Minds," is returning to where he got his start for a two episode quest appearance. Moore will play his original character, Malcolm Winters, on the "Young and the Restless" which will air on Sept. 10 and 11, according to ABC News on July 23.

The story line for the "Young and the Restless" will have Moore come back as Winters to visit his family after leaving without saying a proper good-bye. He will come back and make amends and do some catching up with his character's family and friends.

Yahoo TV News reports that when Moore returns to the "Young and the Restless" in September for the two episodes, his character will reunite with his brother Neil. When Malcolm was last on the soap, he was played by Darius McCary and the character left town after finding out some disparaging news.

That news was that his son who his girlfriend had given birth to was not his after all. The child was fathered by none other than his brother Neil. Now this is the stuff that a good soap is made of so what will Malcolm have to say to his brother upon his return? That you'll have to tune in for on Sept. 10 and 11!

Moore won a Daytime Emmy for supporting actor in his role as Malcolm Winters back in 2000. He was a regular on the show from 1994-2002 and then he left the "Young and the Restless." He returned a few years later and continued to play the same character as Winters from 2004-2005.

His role on the CBS drama of "Criminal Minds" has made him a household name. His character of Derek Morgan has a sexy term of endearment that he uses when addressing the character Penelope Garcia on the show. "Baby Girl" is the sexy man's nickname for Kristen Vangsness's character of Garcia.

Fans of "Criminal Minds" will be happy to hear that Moore will only be doing a guest spot on the soap. The nighttime drama would not be the same if Moore left for good.
