ArtsMemphis announces a fun evening at the Levitt Shell on July 10, 2014, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. The program is called "Shell Out" and ArtsMemphis explains in its mission statement where the proceed go, "Funds to ensure excellence in the arts and build a vibrant cultural community for everyone."

Now, just because all the excitement of the Fourth of July is over, it is not time to stop celebrating. At this event you can lounge on the lawn, at the Shell and enjoy wine, beer and dinner, provided by Fratelli's in a special VIP area. You can then enjoy the sounds of Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Bayou Band in concert. This is a family oriented event, so be sure and bring the kids.

This fundraising event is hosted by David and Yvonne Acey, Shirley Cobbins, Irene Ford, Mark and Karlee Hickman, Darren Isom, Marie Mason, Selena and Patrick McAdams, Emily and Bob McEwan, Jay and Emily Philpott and Linda Steele.

Tickets for the event are $25. Kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on ArtsMemphis "Shell Out." Levitt Shell is located in Overton Park at 1928 Poplar Ave, Memphis, Tennessee 38104 · (901) 272-2722.

ArtsMemphis describes its purpose. "ArtsMemphis is a fundraising and grant making organization that supports arts organizations, arts education and outreach efforts and leads a community-wide Audience Development Initiative to promote engagement in the arts.
