Sheldon Cooper’s Council of Ladies is born on 'The Big Bang Theory' (Video)

Sheldon Cooper’s Council of Ladies” was born on the Jan. 3 episode of “The Big Bang Theory.” According to a Jan. 4 Entertainment Weekly report, the show had the highest ratings yet, despite being on a three week hiatus.

Sheldon’s assistant, Alex, finally asks Leonard out. Leonard is flattered and brags to the guys. Sheldon feels he has a responsibility since Alex is his employee.

Sheldon calls Penny, Amy and Bernadette together for a meeting. Dr. Cooper explains to the girls that he has called on each of them individually for advice, but now needs their combined help. Sheldon dubs them his “council of ladies” and passes out pink shirts to commemorate the occasion.

Sheldon attempts to describe his dilemma using fake names. Penny becomes frustrated with the story, knowing he is clearly talking about Leonard and Alex, and demands to know what happened. This sends Penny into a spiral of jealousy.

Sheldon talks to Alex, which results in him being called to the HR department for his inappropriate conduct. He outs some of the stunts Raj, Leonard and Howard have pulled and they are called to HR as well.
