The Shelby is a classic vehicle of epic proportions. Most recently, it was used in the movie "Gone in Sixty Seconds" which featured the main character using a Shelby to evade police by use of NOS. Jumping over cars on a bridge, the Shelby used in that movie was fictional. However, several reproduction replicas of the "Eleanor" Shelby have been seen at various car shows around the world.

More tire burning chaos!

Long before that movie, the Shelby was the Mustang collector's dream vehicle. It featured all the classic heritage of the Mustang but yet had the special performance appearance and mechanical package that all hardcore enthusiasts enjoy. The following Shelby burnout videos are the top viewed videos on YouTube and feature the Shelby doing what it does best, burnouts!

 

The first video is the most popular Shelby burnout footage, and has brought in a total of 580,000 views. A smooth power brake in a parking lot with the aid of some water allowed this Shelby to quickly rip the remaining tread. A nice breeze brings the smoke forward, making the burnout almost divine. A very good angle and shoot, this first clip is an excellent Shelby burnout!

The second most popular video on YouTube of Shelby burnouts features a "Super Snake" doing some parking lot drifting and donuts. This video has brought in just under 200,000 views! The torque and massive amount of power emitted from the vehicle can be seen as the chassis is thrown around like a rag doll. The vehicle can quickly spin around, thanks to an ultra light rear end and ample power to weight ratio. Leaving true "rail road tracks", this Shelby Super Snake is an awesome burnout machine.

The third and final video which I consider the best, shows a Shelby burnout that rolls on for about fifty feet. Not the best by view count with only 64,000 views, but the best in my opinion. This Shelby burnout takes place in the mountain range in the thin air. A smooth green land backdrop combined with the extraordinary muscle entertainment is a visually pleasing strip of footage. Rolling the burnout after heating up the tires, the torque and power of the Shelby can be proven as it slowly smokes by the camera. Not many vehicles can roll a burnout like the Shelby, enjoy the following footage!
